Sri Parasakthi College For Women was established in 1964 by Sri. A.V.C.T. Shanmugam Chettiar and is affiliated to Manonmania University, Tirunelveli. The college is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) and 12(B) of UGC Act 1956. It is also re-accredited by NAAC with an "A" grade.
